About Umang

UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance ) is a mobile app developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, under Digital India initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology by the Government of India for access to central and state government services. The app supports 13 Indian languages and is available for Android, iOS and Windows.

The app offers more than 600 services including payment, registration, information search and application forms. It is aimed at intending to make government services available to the common public online and around the clock. UMANG provides seamless integration with popular customer centric services like Digilocker, MyGov, Bill Payment services (BBPS), Feedback Service (RAS) etc.

It is an evolving platform designed for citizens of India to offer them access to the Pan-India e-Governance services from the Central, State, Local Bodies, and Agencies of government on app, web, SMS, and IVR channels.
